Longtime UMass Dartmouth Assistant Golf Coach Ed Craig received the 2019 George A. Jacobson Special Recognition Award from the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association on Saturday evening for his contributions to the Corsair program and to New England collegiate golf.
Craig, who is in his 14th season as Head Coach Joel Baptista's staff, was honored prior to the 85th NEIGA Championships that are taking place once again at The Captains Course in Brewster, Mass.  Named in honor of the longtime NEIGA Executive Director and former Salem State head coach, the Jacobson Award was presented to Craig to recognize his efforts in “helping many student-athletes become better players and young men.”
