DARTMOUTH, Mass. -Â In it's final home meet until the new year, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth swimming & diving team defeated Elms College, 97-42, collect its first win of the season.
Every member of the Corsairs had a busy day in the pool, including the season debut for junior
Hannah Niemi.
The 200-yard medley relay team of sophomore

Melia Bouramia and senior finished
Olivia Shaw started the day with a time of 2:14.43.

Piper Dienst was victorious in the 50-yard freestyle (29.17), while sophomore
Rachel Kerrigan finished in second place (29.48). Dienst came in first in the 50-yard butterfly (22.50), and Bouramia came in second place (34.83) in that event.
Agrelo won the 200-yard backstroke (3:10.62) and was the only one competing in the 50-yard backstroke, where she finished with time of 38.83.
Kerrigan also took home a win in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:15.63), while Shaw was in second place (1:19.86) and Agrelo finished third (1:23.85).
Bouramia was second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:37.72), while Shaw came in second in the 50-yard breaststroke (40.46) and Niemi was in third (42.39).
In the 100-yard freestyle, Dienst added on to her stellar day with a second place finish (1:06.06).
Finally, the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Shaw, Bouramia, Dienst and Kerrigan won with a time of 1:57.44.
UMass Dartmouth returns to the pool at Bridgewater State on Saturday at 12 p.m.
