Women's Basketball Gameday #7: Keene State

The Corsair women's basketball team seeks its third straight victory and a weekend sweep on Sunday afternoon, as UMass Dartmouth (3-3, 3-2 LEC) battles Keene State (1-2, 1-2 LEC) in the back end of a Little East Conference home-and-home set at Spaulding Gymnasium in Keene, N.H. that tips-off at 2:00 pm EST.
 
Senior Meagan Donovan (Abington, Mass./Archbishop Williams) recorded 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists to lead four players in double figures for Head Coach Matt Ducharme's Corsairs in yesterday's 73-46 triumph over the Owls at the Tripp Athletic Center.  Junior Jordan Moretti (Johnston, R.I./Johnston) added 11 points, five rebounds and five assists in the win for UMass Dartmouth, which received 10 points and three boards from junior Shaelyn Carreiro (Fall River, Mass./Durfee) along with a career-high 10 points, four caroms and three assists from freshman Kaylin Zalewski (Johnston, R.I./Johnston).  Junior Caroline Wilson (Forestdale, Mass./Sandwich) finished with eight points and five rebounds on the day for the Corsairs, who received six points from freshman Teja Andrews (Plymouth, Mass./Plymouth South) along with four boards from fellow freshman Jemima Joseph (Somerville, Mass./Somerville).
 
Sophomore Hailey Derosia scored a game-high 14 points, grabbed five rebounds and recorded three steals in Saturday's setback for Keene State, as Head Coach Keith Boucher's Owls also received eight points and seven boards from freshman Rylee Burgess.
