Both teams have combined to suffer all of their setbacks to date to Rhode Island College, as UMass Dartmouth enters Saturday's action after dropping two league outings to the Anchorwomen in a week's time that includes a 61-56 decision on Wednesday evening at The Murray Center in Providence, R.I. Juniors
Shaelyn Carreiro (Fall River, Mass./Durfee) and
Jordan Moretti (Johnston, R.I./Johnston) combined for 22 points and 20 rebounds on the night for Head Coach
Matt Ducharme's Corsairs, who also received a combined 17 points from junior
Jessica Carroll (Deep River, Conn./Mercy) and freshman
Faye Veilleux (Wrentham, Mass./King Philip). UMass Dartmouth opened the year with a 57-47 setback to Rhode Island College at the Tripp Athletic Center.
