PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's tennis team was swept by Rhode Island College, 9-0, Tuesday afternoon on the road.
The Corsairs (9-5, 4-3 LEC) suffer their first sweep of the season, while the Anchorwomen (10-0, 7-0 LEC) are now outscoring opponents 89-1 this season after sweeping their ninth-straight match.

In singles, RIC's Jenna Lisi defeated Winter (6-2, 6-1), Lauren Macera beat Yang (6-1, 6-0), Erica Botelho defeated O'Connell (6-0, 6-2), Sarah Gonick took down Riddick (6-1, 6-1), Clara Siegmund was over freshman
Bailey Clarke (6-1, 6-0) and beating Ferrari was Serena Bobola (6-2, 6-2).Â
The Corsairs are back in action on Friday at 3 p.m. against Suffolk at home.
