GORHAM, Maine -Â The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth field hockey team fell, 10-0, at Southern Maine on Saturday.
The Corsairs are now 2-10 and 0-7 in the Little East Conference (LEC), while the first-place Huskies improve to 11-5 and 8-1 in the conference.
Southern Maine scored three times in the first quarter, three more in the second, added one in the third, and capped it off with three goals in the fourth.
Scoring for the Huskies were senior Samantha Ellis thrice, junior Brooke Carson twice, and with one goal were juniors Chloe Arsenault, Hannah Banks and Jordan Cummings and sophomores Ginny Twitchell and Adelle Surette.

UMass Dartmouth is home on Monday for a 4 p.m. start against Keene State.
