UMass Dartmouth Finishes Season With Scoreless Draw

The Corsairs broke an 11-year losing streak against East Conn

MANSFIELD, Conn. - The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie Saturday afternoon at Eastern Connecticut State University. UMass Dartmouth comes out of the contest with a 3-12-3 record, while Eastern Connecticut leaves 6-5-5.

With the draw, UMass Dartmouth snaps an 11-year losing streak against the Warriors.

Senior Mya Parker led all players with three shots on goal. Eastern Connecticut junior goalies Rachel Hughes and Emily Wallace split time and tallied two and three saves, respectively.

UMass Dartmouth's defense did a great job withstanding the pressure from East Conn. Senior goalkeeper Kat Hubbard anchored that defense, tallying three saves and no goals allowed over the full 90 minutes.

The Corsairs will now preoare for the 2023 season.
