PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Plymouth State scored the game-winning goal with six seconds left in regulation to hand the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth hockey team a 3-2 loss on the road Saturday night.

Kevin Johnston picked up goals for the Corsairs (2-3-0, 1-2-0 MASCAC), while the Panthers (3-2-1, 3-0-0) scored three unsanswered goals to win by sophomore Anton Jellvik, senior Myles Abbate and sophomore Ethan Stuckless.
UMass Dartmouth took command early in the first period with two quick goals. it only took Ellerbrook 1:17 into the game to find the back of the net off assists from junior
Zach Tarantino and freshman
Billy McDevitt. Less than a minute later it was Johnston who scored off a helper from classmate
Ian Zaleski to make it a 2-0 advantage.
Plymouth State cut its deficit in half at the 12:34 mark of the first, making it a 2-1 game at the first intermission. Neither side scored in the second period as both sides were able to successfully get through a power play.
The Panthers took control late, evening the score with just under seven minutes remaining in regulation on Abbate's goal off an assist from senior Ted Austin. The game winner came with six seconds remaining in the third when Stuckless found the back of the net with a helper from junior Carson Lanceleve.
UMass Dartmouth hosts Fitchburg State on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
