DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's basketball team stuck with Bowdoin for most of the game, but the road team won the fourth quarter, 23-10, to win the LaFrance Hospitality Tournament.

Jordan Moretti led the Corsairs (2-1) with 15 points and five rebounds, while junior
Kaylin Zalewski added 14 points, five rebounds and five assists. Junior
Teja Andrews tallied 13 points with three blocked shots.
The Polar Bears (2-0) won the game on the boards, outreboundding UMass Dartmouth 54-30, including 28-4 on the offensive glass.

Jessica Carroll started the game by knocking down a triple. The teams went back-and-forth and a pair of baskets by Zalewski evened the score at 10 with 2:58 to go in the quarter. A midrange jumper from junior
Jemima Joseph in the final minute made it a 13-12 Bowdoin lead after the first 10 minutes.

Caroline Wilson sunk a triple to put the Corsairs back on top, 19-18, with 6:49 until halftime. A three by Zalewski and baskets from Moretti and freshman
Melanie DeMeo kept the deficit at 34-28. Bowdoin then closed the half on a 6-0 run to take a 38-28 lead at the break.
Consecuitve buckets by Zalewski and three's from Moretti put the Corsairs right back in the game, 41-39, with 7:20 left in the third. The teams then traded baskets until four-straight points from Andrews cut the deficit to 54-51 heading to the fourth.
Three points from Zalewski and a triple by Andrews kept it close, 60-57, with 6:56 to go. Bowdoin then finished the game on a 17-4 run to put it away.
UMass Dartmouth hosts Salve Regina on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
