Jake Ashworth secured 15 points to reach 1,500 for his career and move to 15th on the all-time scoring list as the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth dismantled Southern Maine, 93-55, Sunday at the Costello Sports Complex.

Adam Seablom had another impressive performance for the Corsairs (18-2, 10-1 LEC), finishing with 25 points with four threes to creep within 50 points of 1,000. Senior
Marcus Azor nearly had another triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in 27 minutes. Sophomore
Isaac Percy went off for 14 points on 5-of-6 from the field and junior
Jackson Zancan tallied 10 points and six boards.
UMass Dartmouth finishes its jam-packed week 4-0 with a margin of victory of 27 points. The Corsairs held the Huskies to 36.7-percent shooting (22-60) and 21.7-percent from deep (5-23).
Junior Cody Hawes led the Huskies (9-11, 4-7 LEC) with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Azor, Zancan, and a 3-ball from senior
Sean Leahy boosted UMass Dartmouth to a 9-0 advantage at the 16:35 mark of the first. Southern Maine attempted to keep up by going on an 8-2 run, closing its deficit to 11-8 two minutes later. Eight-consecutive points by Seablom, threes from junior
John Martins Jr. and Percy, and two at the stripe from Ashworth extended the lead to 27-16 with 8:55 in the half.
The teams then traded baskets until an and-1 by Seablom sparked a 15-1 run to close the half and make it a 46-24 score at the break. Seablom scored 16 of his points and blocked three shots in the first, while Azor had six points, six assists and four rebounds in the first 20 minutes.
Ashworth started the second with an and-1 to put him three points away from the milestone. Azor then scored twice in the paint and Leahy found Ashworth for three and 1,500 points to make it a 53-26 game with 18:19 to go. The Corsairs continued to pour it on, 3-pointers by Seablom, Azor and Percy highlighted a 27-11 run to go ahead, 80-37, with 8:42 left.
Southern Maine cut it to a 30-point game, but a three by Zancan and buckets from 5th-year senior
Jarron Santos, Percy and Martins Jr. capped off the blowout.
UMass Dartmouth looks to take another step toward capturing the Little East Conference regular season championship on Wednesday against Keene State at 7 p.m. at the Tripp Athletic Center.
