DAVENPORT, Fla. - The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth baseball team lost, 18-2, to Immaculata University on Sunday.
The Corsairs fall to 4-2, while the Mighty Macs improve to 2-3.
UMass Dartmouth got on the board in the top of the first. Junior DJ Perron doubled and sophomore
Jared Neikam singled him in to make it a 1-0 Corsair lead.
That would be the last lead for UMassD. The Mighty Macs plated six runs in the first, three in the second, two in the third, and five in the fourth to take a 16-1 advantage.
The Corsairs brought home their second run of the day in the fifth. Freshman
Chase Pariseau hit an RBI double to score senior James Pederson, who walked earlier in the frame.
Immaculate scored one in the sixth, and its 18th run in the eighth to finish it off.
UMass Dartmouth returns to the diamond on Monday at 5:30 p.m. against Johnson & Wales.
