PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's tennis team rolled to a 7-2 victory at Plymouth State Saturday afternoon at the Holderness School Courts.
The Corsairs improve to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the Little East Conference (LEC), moving up to first place in the LEC. The Panthers drop to 3-3 and 1-2 in the LEC.

Ailey Riddick remained unbeaten at No. 1 doubles, 8-3. Senior
McKenzie Ferrari and junior
Caroline Lemieux then took No. 3 doubles, 8-4, to give UMass Dartmouth a 2-1 lead going into singles matches.
Winter went 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles to get it started. Freshmen
Bailey Clarke (6-0, 6-0) andÂ
Zuri Walters (6-1, 6-3) won their singles matches to give the Corsairs an insurmountable 5-1 advantage.Â
Riddick (7-5, 6-3) and senior
Alanna O'Connell (4-6, 6-2, 6-3) rallied to win their matches for the 7-2 final.
"This was an important road conference win against a respected opponent that was picked to finish two spots ahead of us in the preseason poll," said Head Coach
Doug Chapman. "We have had a very competitive rivalry with Plymouth State, so this was a very good win."
UMass Dartmouth is back at home against Salem State on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. for a conference match.
