DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's tennis team improved to 4-0 in the Little East Conference (LEC) and 8-2 overall with a 9-0 shutout victory over Salem State. The Corsairs did not drop a set all match.

Winter, a two-time LEC Player of the Week, improved to 9-1 in singles and 10-0 in doubles, all in the top spot. She won her singles match, 6-1, 6-0. The resst of the singles matches were won handedly: Walters (6-0, 6-0); Yang (6-3, 6-1); senior
Alanna O'Connell (6-0, 6-0); Riddick (6-0, 6-0); freshman
Bailey Clarke (6-0, 6-1).
O'Connell improved to 9-1 in singles matches.
"IsaBella's record speaks for the big difference she has made on the court," said Head Coach
Doug Chapman. "She has also been such a positive contributor off the court as well. "Overall, it was a very comprehensive performance."
UMass Dartmouth has a fast turnaround and plays at Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
