The Corsairs improve to 5-10-2 on the season and 4-6-1 against conference opponents while the Vikings slip to 3-13 and 1-9 in conference.

A Salem State turnover led to the game's first goal as UMass Dartmouth senior
Justin Weinbrenner found junior
Bryce Grennan alone in front of the crease for a 1-0 UMassD lead at 12:43 of the first. The Corsairs reciprocated with their own turnover, which led to Viking's senior Connor Wooley's game-tying goal at the 12:32 mark. Â
Â
Salem State took the lead, 2-1 at 6:27 of the second when junior Dash Quartarolo's shot from the blue line found its way passed UMD's senior goalieÂ
Daniel Davidson. However, UMass Dartmouth's junior
Michael Mania knocked in a loose puck late in the period to send the game tied 2-2 into the third.Â
Â
The Corsairs went back on top 3-2, when senior

Tyler Stewart added another score with a breakaway goal off an assists from his classmate
Jimmy Mettler and senior
Sky Silverstein, to increase the margin to 4-2. FreshmanÂ
