Alex Walker, the UMass Dartmouth men's hockey team posted a 4-1 win over Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) in MASCAC action on Thursday evening. The win moves the Corsairs to 2-2-0 overall and 1-1-0 in conference play, while the Trailblazers are now 1-1-1 with an 0-1-1 mark in the MASCAC.
The Corsairs got things going at 15:54 of the opening period as Walker buried a feed from sophomore defender

MCLA tied things up quickly to open the second period of action as Addam Brunner collected a pass from Luke Rhoss for the equalizer at just :31 into the frame. Easton Moore earned the second assist on the goal past Corsairs goalie

Kevin Johnston broke the stalemate at 8:13 of the second period, driving the puck home off a rebound shot from Patterson in front. The Corsairs made it a 3-1 lead at 14:58 as Walker netted his second of the contest off an outstanding play from grad student left winger

The Corsairs - who killed off a five-on-three opportunity and a five-minute major in the late stages of the second into the third period - cemented the victory in final period as senior winger
Billy McDevitt took advantage of a miscue in the neutral zone, scoring 33 seconds into the stanza as the Corsairs killed off the major penalty.

Connor Little was 6-6. In goal, Davidson earned the victory, making 19 saves on the evening.
For MCLA, Gover recorded 24 stops in the defeat, while Moore led the way with an 11-8 mark in the faceoff circle.
The Corsairs return to action on Saturday, traveling to Fitchburg State for a 4pm MASCAC tilt. The Trailblazers are also in action on Saturday, hosting nationally-ranked rival, Plymouth State at 7pm.
