DARTMOUTH, Mass. - It was a top-to-bottom effort on Thursday afternoon as the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's tennis team posted a 9-0 win over the University of Saint Joseph in non-conference action. The Corsairs improve to 3-1 on the season, while the Bluejays drop to 0-3 overall.

Bailey Clarke notched an 8-2 win over Gia Alvarez and Jillian Milo, while at one, the senior captain duo of
IsaBella Winter and
Ailey Riddick were 8-2 victors over Liliana Garcia and Ananya Srivatsav to give UMass Dartmouth the 3-0 advantage.
In singles action, Winter made it a 4-0 lead as she downed Garcia, 6-1, 6-2 from one, while Walters secured match point with a 6-1, 6-0 win against Alvarez from three. Clarke was up next at five, recording a 6-1, 6-3 victory against Gardella, as Gonzalez posted a 6-1, 6-3 victory against Srivatsav at two.Â
Following a 6-4, 6-2 win by Lemieux over Daynah Ecchevarria at six, the match concluded at four with Riddick defeating Milo, 6-3, 1-6, 10-4.
The Corsairs return to action on Saturday when they host Plymouth State in Little East action. Due to the impending weather, the match has been moved indoors to the Lakeville Athletic Club in Lakeville, Mass. Match time is set for 3:45pm.
