GORHAM, Maine – The UMass Dartmouth women's tennis team swept the Huskies of the University of Southern Maine, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon during the last regular season match of the year. The Corsairs wrap up the regular season with an 8-7 overall record following today's victory over the Huskies who fell to 0-10.
UMass Dartmouth quickly took control in doubles action as sophomore

Emma Collings defeated their opponents 8-2 in No. 1 doubles. Sophomores Sagie Croce and
Sofia Beltran also handed their Huskies counterparts an 8-2 loss to take a commanding 3-0 lead heading into singles play.
Collings continued her winning ways sweeping Makayla Morello 6-0, 6-0 in No. 3 singles to go ahead 4-0 in the match. Gonzalez soon followed with her own 6-0, 6-0 sweep at No. 1 singles to extend the Corsairs advantage to 5-0.

Kayli Langan came out victories after battling with Olivia Tabor securing a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles to pick up her fourth consecutive singles win. Junior

Lauren Burgess cemented UMass Dartmouth's 9-0 sweep with victories at No. 2 and No. 5 singles, respectively.
The Corsairs will enter the Little East Conference postseason as the sixth-seeded team finishing the season with a 4-4 conference record. UMass Dartmouth will travel to Bridgewater State University for the LEC Quarterfinals match on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
