DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The UMass Dartmouth women's tennis team outlasted Lesley University, 5-4, during their season home opener on Tuesday to secure their second win of the season. The Corsairs improve to a 2-0 overall record while the Lynx open their year 0-1 following the loss.

Eren Adamiak swept Pamela Manriquez in No. 6 singles to give UMass Dartmouth a 3-1 edge, marking her first collegiate win in singles action. After Croce cruised to a 6-3, 6-0 win in No. 5 spot, sophomore
Sofia Beltran dominated in No. 4 singles to extend the Corsairs advantage to 5-1.

Emma Collings sealed UMass Dartmouth's home victory after defeating Lucy Boyce 6-0, 6-2 in the No. 4 singles spot.
UMass Dartmouth are back in action hosting Vermont State University Castleton on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 1:00 pm from the Corsair Tennis Courts.
