PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The UMass Dartmouth women's lacrosse team fell on the road to Plymouth State University, 26-7, in the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon. The Corsairs finish the regular season with a 3-5 mark in Little East Conference (LEC) action while the Panthers remain undefeated in league play with an 8-0 record.

Claire Altshuler gave UMass Dartmouth an early 1-0 edge with her score off the assist from graduate student
Kyra Lyons at the 13:44 mark. The Panther responded quickly after netting two goals back-to-back to claim a 2-1 lead. Sophomore attacker
Maddy Allen found the back of the net to tie the game up at 2-apiece with 8:50 on the clock. After Maddie Hunt produced a pair of scores for Plymouth State to go ahead 4-2, Allen and Altshuler each notched a goal apiece to once again level the score at 4-4.
The Panthers started the second period with a two-goal lead after tallying two late goals in the last three minutes of the opening period, respectively. Plymouth State continued to generate attacking momentum in the second quarter, registering three consecutive goals to take a 9-4 advantage. Altshuler dished a penetrating pass to Allen who buried the ball past Panther goalie Margie Black for her third of the afternoon at the 8:03 mark. The home team finished the first half strong going on a 7-1 run to end to enter halftime with a 10-goal cushion.
Plymouth State maintained control in the second half scoring 10 straight goals through the third and fourth period. Lyons tallied a late score with less than a minute in the contest off the helper from sophomore attacker
Jennifer Lins, but the Panthers sealed their victory by a final score of 26-7.
Allen and Altshuler each ended the game with a hat trick apiece while Lyons notched one goal and one assist for two points. Altshuler also added an assist to finish the game with a team-high four points. Allen led the squad with six draw controls to go along with one ground ball. First year defender
Jade Munoz scoped up five ground balls to match her career-high in addition to causing three turnovers while sophomore defender
Lily Nees recorded a team-high four caused turnovers.

Keira Bushey picked up the loss in net for the Corsairs after surrendering 26 goals and posting eight total stops. Her counterpart registered three saves and allowed seven goals in net for Plymouth State.
UMass Dartmouth has secured the No. 6 seed in the 2025 Little East Conference postseason and will await playoff pairings from the league later today.
