Two Garner LEC Weekly Honors in Volleyball

Seutter named Offensive Player of the Week; Peters nabs first-ever Setter of the Week nod

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Little East Conference has announced their first weekly honors of the 2025-26 season and UMass Dartmouth women's volleyball saw two recognized. Sophomore Olivia Seutter garnered Offensive Player of the Week, while Skype Peters earned the inaugural Setter of the Week honor.

Seutter, an opposite from Mesa, Ariz., had an outstanding opening weekend, posting a team-high 34 kills with just two errors over 77 total attacks. She had a hitting percentage of .416, adding two assists with six digs and four block assists.

The reigning LEC Rookie of the Year, Seutter opened her sophomore campaign with 12 kills and no errors on 27 total swings in a 3-0 win over Nazareth on Friday. She added eight kills with three block assists in a 3-0 victory against Ursinus on Saturday, before adding 14 kills with no assists on 27 swings for an astounding .519 hitting percentage as the Corsairs defeated Suffolk, 3-0. On the weekend, she posted 36.0 total points.

Peters, a junior setter from Albuquerque, N.M., finished with 52 assists on the weekend, adding five service aces, 23 digs and a block assist as a starter in all three matches.

In the victory over the Golden Flyers on Friday, Peters notched 21 assists with nine digs and a service ace. She then posted 15 assists with 10 digs and two aces against the Bears. Peters wrapped up the weekend with 16 assists, two aces and four digs in the victory against the Rams.

UMass Dartmouth (3-0) returns to action on Tuesday, welcoming Worcester State to Tripp Gymnasium at 6pm.
