FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth men's soccer team fell against Framingham State University, 4-2, on Tuesday night in non-conference action. The Corsairs dropped to 3-2 overall on the season while Rams improved to a 2-2 mark on the year.

Lennon Rodrigues opened the scoring by netting his first career goal just six minutes into the game, respectively, off the assist from classmate

Matt Kobrenski each continued to put pressure on the Rams goalkeeper Colin Holt who was able to post a pair of saves. Framingham State knotted the game up at 1-apiece thanks to a score by Kaio Santos Da Silva in the 24
th minute of the opening half.

Ethan Donahue produced his first stop of the night to deny a shot by Da Silva. The Rams grabbed their first lead of the game after Da Silva scored his second goal of the night to give the home team a 2-1 cushion heading into halftime.
UMass Dartmouth got to work early in the second half outshooting Framingham State 5-1 in the opening 10 minutes of play. In the 60
th minute, the Corsairs earned their first corner kick of the half that Kobrenski stepped up to take. Kobrenski whipped the ball towards the back post where sophomore
Brennan Hill was there to head the ball into the back of the net and tie the game up at 2-apiece.
Both teams exchanged shots shortly after until John Holt reclaimed a 3-2 lead for the Rams in the 71
st minute. Framingham State cemented their home win by a final score of 4-2 after Brain Penney scored a late goal for the Rams in the final four minutes of the game.
Hill scored his first goal of the season as well as his first collegiate goal for UMass Dartmouth. Rodrigues also netted his first career goal as a Corsair for two points while first year
Jack Martin recorded his first collegiate assist. Kobrenski capped off the night by tallying his first assist of the season which marked his third in his career.
Donahue recorded five saves and allowed four goals in net for the Corsairs while his counterpart produced 12 stops and allowed two goals for the Rams.
