PROVIDENCE, RI - The Corsairs fell behind early, but used three goals in under five minutes to rally past the Anchormen 3-1.

Mario Rodriguez netted his first goal of the 2026 campaign today. Rodriguez wasn't the only one to tally his first points of the season...
Daniel Jordan added a point off the assist to Rodriguez.
Three minutes later, it was the Corsairs leading goal scorer
Claudio Ramos who gave the team the team. Rodriquez added the assist for his third point of the game.
Roughly two minutes later,
TJ Remson hit the back of the net from about 35 yards out to put the Corsairs up 3-1. Freshman
Owen Borges was credited with the assist.
Both Remson and Borges posted their first career points in the blue and gold.
Rodriguez led the team in shots with five, four of which were on net. Ramos followed behind with three shots.
Despite allowing the goal early, freshman
EJ Corliss saved six shots to shutout the Anchormen in the last 78 minutes of the game.
The Corsairs return to the pitch this Saturday at home against Eastern Connecticut State University. Senior festivites are set to begin at 12pm noon.
