PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Behind a game-high six points from junior
Maddy Allen, the UMass Dartmouth women's lacrosse team posted a 13-4 Little East victory at Rhode Island College on Wednesday afternoon. The Corsairs move to 4-12 on the season and are now 1-6 in conference action.

The Anchorwomen answered with 5:20 to go in the frame as Taylor Lambert got one past UMD goalie
Keira Bushey to narrow the gap to 2-1 heading into the second quarter. Rhode Island College tied things up late in the second stanza as Brie Macaruso buried a pass from Lambert, but UMass Dartmouth took the lead just before halftime as junior attack and captain
Katie Hague scored on the free position.
Out of the halftime with a yellow card penalty charged to the Corsairs, RIC answered on the man-up as Sadie Robitaille scored from Macaruso to tie it up at 3-all at 14:42 of the third quarter. Minutes later, UMD answered as Pitts fed Allen inside as the junior banked it into the goal for a man-down tally and the 4-2 lead at 12:56.
Allen answered once again at 11:02, carrying the ball through the zone as she fired it into the left corner for the 5-3 advantage on her 50th goal of the 2026 campaign. UMass Dartmouth opened the lead to three at the 4:11 mark as junior attack

It was Allen once again with her fourth goal of the contest at 3:14 as she made her way into the zone, firing a long shot past the reach of the Anchorwomen goalie for the 7-3 score. With just nine seconds remaining, it was rookie midfielder
Carleigh Swenson to capitalize for the Corsairs as she navigated all the way around the back of the net, making a quick turn to fire it in on the left side to make it an 8-3 lead heading into the final quarter of play.
Swenson answered the call once again to open the fourth quarter, driving down the middle for her second of the game and 25th of the season at 14:36. The Corsairs widened the gap to seven (10-3) as Allen scored on the free position for her fifth of the game at 10:36.
The Corsairs saw Pitts score the final three goals of the game to give the visitors a 13-4 victory.
Allen finished with a game-high five goals, tacking on an assist with three ground balls and a game-high seven draw controls. Pitts recorded four goals with a helper, adding a ground ball, while Swenson posted two goals and three ground balls on the afternoon. Junior midfielder and captain

The Corsairs will play their final regular season game on Saturday at home, welcoming the University of Southern Maine to Cressy Field for a 1pm tilt. UMD will celebrate Senior Day as
Emma Terino and Lins will both be honored.
