NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced its All-Region honorees for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor season and 12 UMass Dartmouth student-athletes have been recognized.

Leading the way was sophomore Ancil Alexander, who finished the 2026 season ranked first in the Northeast Region in both the discus throw and the shot put. He posted a school record throw of 54.90 meters (180' 1") on March 28 at the Corsair Classic. It was a mark that earned him the top overall mark in Division III for several weeks and also saw him qualify for the NCAA Championships – earning his second straight All-America honor in the discus (7th overall).

Alexander also owned the top mark in the region in the shot put with a throw of 17.99 meters (59' 0.25") – another school record throw that catapulted him to seventh in the nation in the event. He went on to compete at Nationals, finishing ninth overall for Second Team All-America honors – a distinction he earned in the same event at the 2026 indoor national championships.

Also earning All-Region in two events was rookie Chalais Saintil, who ranked sixth in the Northeast in the discus after a throw of 46.10 meters (151' 3") at the F.I.R.E. Meet at Williams on May 8. Saintil finished the 2026 season ranked eighth overall in the shot put, posting a throw of 14.73 meters (47' 9.25") to place seventh at the Little East Championships on April 25.

Rookie Ewan McLeod garnered his honor after finishing 2026 ranked second in the Northeast Region with a height of 2.07 meters (6' 9.5") in the high jump at the MIT Final Qualifier on May 14. That mark sealed his spot in the national championships as he competed for the first time in his career on the national stage.

Sophomore Sean Patrone and senior Vincenzo Videtta both finished in a tie for fourth amongst the region's best in the high jump. Both recorded heights of 2.00 meters (6' 6.75") with both marks coming at the 2026 Division III New England Championships. Videtta claimed the New England title, while Patrone was also the 2026 Little East Champion on April 25.

In the hammer throw, rookie Michael Gama ranked fourth overall in the region with a throw of 53.13 meters (174' 4"). It was a mark that he achieved at the Bridgewater State Bears Invitational on April 17. Senior Joseph Uwanogho was close behind in the event, ranking fifth overall in the region with a distance of 53.00 meters (173' 11").

Junior Cameron Thompson was recognized in the 3000-meter Steeplechase as he finished seventh in the Northeast on the season. He posted a mark of 9:26.32 in the event, which saw him place second overall at the DIII New England Championships in just his second-ever running of the event.

The final All-Region honors of 2026 went to the 4x100-meter relay team of junior Justin Andrade, sophomores Daniel Jordan and Zane Gordon, along with rookie Shemar Dillon. The group finished seventh in the region after posting a school record time of 41.93 at the Bridgewater Bears Invite on April 17.

UMass Dartmouth claimed victory at the Little East Championships for the outdoor season – earning their fourth title since 2022 and sixth in program history. The Corsairs went on to place second overall at the DIII New England Championships, while two student-athletes competed at the 2026 NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships.
