Corsairs Score Twice In LEC Opener

GORHAM, ME - Kiariana Williams and Molly Sheehan both scored their first goals of the season, but the UMass Dartmouth women's soccer team fell to Southern Maine 3-2. 

Williams paced the Corsairs in shots with four. Three of them were put on goal. The goal was the seventh of her career.

Molly Sheehan netted a penalty kick goal late in the second half for her third career goal. 

Sheehan had two shots on goal, and so did teammate Emily Trainque.

Goalie Emma Juelis had nine saves, which was the most of her career. 

The Corsairs are back in action at Trinity College on Tuesday at 5:30pm.
