Carr Scores First Career Goal In Loss To Westfield

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Emily Carr scored her first career goal in the late stages, but it was Westfield who earned the weekday win 6-1. 
 
Goalie Shane Cueman stopped 15 shots, which is the second most of the season. 
 
Cueman extended her double-digit saves tally to four games in a row. 
 
Sam King tallied two shots for the Corsairs, while teammate Carly Wang had a shot on goal. 
 
Morgan Carr entered the game in goal for the last quarter and saved two shots on net and allowed no goals.
 
Kelly Bates tallied her first defensive save of the season.
 
The Corsairs return home for an LEC matchup against the WestConn Wolves this Saturday. Gametime is set for 1pm.
