Corsairs Drop Saturday Match Despite Impressive Defense

DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The UMass Dartmouth field hockey team dropped a 5-0 loss to Clark this Saturday despite recording multiple blocked shots and defensive saves. 

Last seasons All-LEC second team goalie Shane Cueman stopped five shots against the Cougars. 

Sophia Bouffard tallied not one, but two defensive saves for the Corsairs. 

Brooke Lydon paced the Corsairs in shots on net with three. Lydon had two impressive steals in the second half setting up for the shots on goal. 

Senior Sam Gacioch also added a shot on goal. 

The Corsairs remain at home next week with a game against Wheaton on Tuesday at 6pm.
