DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The UMass Dartmouth women's soccer team earned their first win of the season in a down-to-the-wire match against Elms.
The Corsairs broke through in the 77th minute of the game with a goal from Kate O'Nuallian.
"I think toward the second half of the game we started really connecting and finding those opportunites." said O'Nuallain.
O'Nuallain's goal was fed from
Morgyn Riedl, which marked her first career point in the blue and gold.
Goalkeeper
Emma Juelis saw multiple shots on target in the later minutes of the game but held the Blazers from scoring. Juelis ended her day with three saves.
Molly Sheehan led the Corsairs in shots with three, while
Kiariana Williams, and
Jesse Ayres both had one on net.
The Corsairs are on the road next Tuesday for a game against Western New England. Kickoff against the Golden Bears is set for 4:30 pm.
