PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference announced their weekly honorees in women's volleyball and two UMass Dartmouth student-athletes were recognized. Skye Peters was named the Setter of the Week, while Brooke Harrington earned Rookie of the Week honors.
Peters, a senior captain and setter from Albuquerque, N.M., had an outstanding effort in the Corsairs opening week, recording 99 total assists over 11 sets played. She averaged 9.00 assists per set over three matches played, adding 29 digs and six service aces to go along with two kills on the week.
In a 3-0 win at Dean to open the season, she posted 24 assists with nine digs and two aces. Peters went on to notch single-match high 48 assists with three service aces, 11 digs and a kill in a 3-2 victory at Coast Guard on Friday. She followed that up with 27 assists, nine digs and a service ace in a tough 3-0 loss to Endicott – also on Friday.
This marks the sixth career Setter of the Week honor for Peters, who was a five-time recipient during the 2025 season. Peters was also an All-LEC Second Team honoree a season ago.
Harrington, a first year defensive specialist from Walpole, Mass., made a big impact in her first collegiate week. She recorded a team-high 42 digs, averaging 3.82 digs per set, while also leading the team with eight service aces. Harrington also posted five assists on the week.
In the win at Dean, she recorded 11 digs with a match-high six service aces. Harrington went on to record 16 digs with two assists and an ace in the victory at Coast Guard before notching 15 digs, an assist and an ace against the Gulls to end the week.
UMass Dartmouth returns to action on Tuesday evening, welcoming Wheaton at 6pm as they open their home schedule at Tripp Gym.
