Garth Noack joined the coaching staff at UMass Dartmouth prior to the 2016-17 season after serving 12 years as the top assistant at Johnson & Wales in Providence, R.I. During his time at JWU, he was instrumental in all recruiting, practice planning and overall operation of the program. The Wildcats advanced to the program’s first ECAC Northeast final in 2010.

Noack played defense at JWU, and was named to the ECAC Northeast All-Academic team in 2004. He graduated that same year with a degree in Accounting, earning the University’s highest academic honors, and served seven years in the United States Marine Corps. He currently works for the state of Rhode Island in the Division of Taxation.
