Jeremiah Ketts joined the coaching staff at UMass Dartmouth prior to the 2016-17 season after several years in the professional ranks and a four-year career at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I.

Ketts is one of the most accomplished players in Wildcat hockey program history with 64 goals and 101 assists for 165 career points. He is a two-time AHCA All-American, making the Second Team as a junior in 2011 and the First Team as a senior in 2012, and was tabbed the ECAC Northeast Player of the Year in both seasons. In 2012, Ketts was named the Concanon Award winner, bestowed annually to the best American-born Division II/III hockey player in New England. He led the nation in both points and assists as a junior and senior, earning New England Hockey Writers First Team All-New England accolades. In Ketts' sophomore year at JWU, the Wildcats advanced to the ECAC Northeast final for the first time in school history.

A native of Foristell, Mo., Ketts enjoyed a professional career for several years following his four-year stint at JWU. He signed as a senior with the Reading Royals of the ECHL, and additional spent time with the Tulsa Oilers of the CHL, the Pensacola Ice Flyers and Peoria Rivermen of the SPHL.
