Jackie Branca enters her seventh year as an Assistant Coach for the UMass Dartmouth women's basketball program for the 2025-26 season. 

During the 2024-25 season, Branca helped the Corsairs win their first-ever Little East Conference (LEC) Championship title in program history after defeating Southern Maine, 94-50, on March 1st from the Tripp Athletic Center. UMass Dartmouth saw their historic season end in the 2025 NCAA First Round game against Trinity College (Conn.) hosted by New York University on March 7th. The Corsairs finished the season with an impressive 23-5 overall record which marked the seventh time in program history the Corsairs posted 20-plus wins in a single-season. 

Prior to joining UMass Dartmouth in 2019, Branca spent the 2018-19 season as a member of the Williams women's basketball staff. 

In 2016, Branca began her collegiate coaching career at Bridgewater State University, where she was a member of the staff for two seasons. Before coaching at BSU, Branca served as an assistant coach at Needham High School. During that time, she also served in a variety of volunteer and coaching roles at the youth and high school levels. 

Branca is a 2010 graduate of Assumption College and was a four-year member of the Greyhounds women’s basketball program. The Greyhounds appeared in the Northeast-10 Conference postseason every year and advanced to the NCAA regional semifinals in 2008. 

Branca holds her Bachelor of Arts in English & Communications from Assumption College, and earned her Masters in Teaching from Simmons College in 2014.
