Katie Brown enters her first year on the Corsairs women’s soccer coaching staff after being hired in early September.
 
Brown was a member of the women’s soccer program at Salem State University from 2016 to 2020. She helped Salem State make two postseason appearances in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Tournament. While wearing the Viking uniform, Brown netted 22 total goals and dished out four assists for 48 points throughout her career. She served as a team captain for the Vikings during her senior year and earned Fall Athletic All-Academic Team honors all four years at Salem State.
 
She graduated from Salem State with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and minored in Legal Studies and Psychology in May of 2020. Brown later earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice in 2021 from Salem State and received the Criminal Justice Outstanding Graduate Student Award. She went on to obtain a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School in May of 2023.
 
A native of Milford, Massachusetts, Brown is currently enrolled in the UMass Law School program and is working on her Juris Doctor degree.
