We improved defensively, and we improved on face-offs, and our goalkeeper, (freshman) Cameron Crown (Walpole, MA/Walpole HS), did a phenomenal job. We have a young team, and we want to keep improving."

UMass Dartmouth out shot Clark, 31-23. Senior goalkeeper Tyler Cameron (Portland, OR/Lincoln HS) made 10 saves for the Cougars, while Crown made eight and freshman Kevin Pelsinski (Merrimack, NH/Merrimack HS) made three for UMD.
