UMass Dartmouth senior Teddy McCaffery was named as the Little East Conference Men's Lacrosse Goalie of the Week on Monday afternoon for his performance in a pair of Corsair contests last week.
A native of Pepperell, Mass. and a graduate of Bishop Guertin High School, McCaffery posted a 7.04 goals against average and made 30 saves for a .682 saves percentage on the week that included 13 stops in last Saturday's 12-7 victory over Wheaton at Cressy Field. Teddy also recorded 17 saves in last Wednesday's 8-7 double overtime setback at MIT, and on the young season he has notched a 9.76 GAA with 44 stops for a .571 saves percentage in four outings.
Head Coach Ryan Murphy's squad will be idle until next Wednesday, March 18th, as UMass Dartmouth will host Emerson in a non-league clash at Cressy Field beginning at 6:00 pm EDT.
