DARTMOUTH, Mass. -Â It was UMass Boston who came out on top over UMass Dartmouth, 1-0, Wednesday night at Cressy Field.
The Beacons (10-3-2, 4-0-1 LEC) have won three matches straight, while the Corsairs (1-9-1, 0-5-0 LEC) are still unable to secure their first conference victory.

Sarah Vieira had the best opportunity of the night with a penalty kick in the 82nd minute, but her attempt was saved by UMass Boston's junior keeper Maria Spylios.

Kat Hubbard made nine saves in the contest, including four in the first half to keep it scoreless at the half.
UMass Boston scored early in the second half off a corner kick in the 55th minute. Senior Grace Oliver sent it to freshman Maggie Kelley who sent home the deciding goal.
Vieira's corner kick was then saved in the final minutes as the Beacons hung on for the victory.
UMass Dartmouth hosts Western Connecticut State on Saturday at 1 p.m.
