The Corsairs (5-10, 4-5 LEC) currently maintain ninth-place in the LEC standings with three conference games remaining, while the Warriors (8-4, 6-2 LEC) improve to third in the league standings.
Just over five minutes into the game, East Conn's graduate student Brianna Nolan was fouled and earned a penalty stroke. She tucked it in the top-right corner to give the Warriors a 1-0 advantage.
The Corsairs evened the score 1:15 later when graduate student
Mikella DaSilva sent a cross to Dias who sent it home to make it a 1-1 game with 6:15 on the clock. 5th-year senior
Brittany Perry had a pair of opportunities in the first quarter and senior
Hannah Steen's shot was blocked in the second as the scored remained a tie at halftime.
Nolan scored her second goal of the game in the third quarter with 35:04 on the clock to give East Conn. a 2-1 lead.Â
The Warriors then recorded two quick goals early in the fourth. Sophomore Isabella Sanchez tallied a goal off a rebound from the UMassD goalkeeper at 45:52, and Nolan completed her hat-trick off an assist from senior Corey Callahan with 48:24 on the clock.

Hannah Niemi, and Perry had a flurry of shots that were unsuccessful in the closing minutes of the game. Carvalho then cut the deficit in half off an assist from senior
Desarai Melendez with just over two minutes to play, but the clock ran out on the Corsairs.
UMass Dartmouth's next game is on the road at 7 p.m. against Bridgewater State on Wednesday.
