WESTFIELD, Mass. -Â The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's soccer team fell, 6-0, at Westfield State Tuesday night.
The Corsairs (1-11-1) will now prepare for their next game against Conn. College at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Cressy, while the Owls (10-4-1), who have won five straight, get ready for Fitchburg State on Saturday.
Freshman goalkeeper
Jess Costa finished with 11 saves.
Senior Jenn Rennich scored the first two goals in the 5th and 11th minutes. Junior Marrisa Jacob and freshman Bella Parrotte assisted on the first goal and senior Morgan Remington helped on the second.
Freshman Delaney Parker, who is second in the nation in goals, made it a 3-0 score in the 13th minute off an assist from Parrotte.Â
Freshman Jaida Cochran extended the lead to 4-0 in the 38th minute with a helper from Parker before halftime.
Rennich completed her hat-trick in the 50th minute off an assist from junior Kylee Murphy. Finally, it was Parker from Remington in the 61st minute to finish things off. It was Parker's 23rd score of the year.
