DARTMOUTH, Mass. -Â The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's soccer team was defeated, 6-0, by Connecticut College Thursday night at Cressy Field.
For the Corsairs (1-12-1), freshman
Erica Reed led the team with three shots on goal and four total, while six different Camels (9-2-2) found their way to the scoresheet.
UMass Dartmouth played well in the first in 25 minutes, recording two corner kicks and two shots on goal as the match stayed scoreless.Â
That changed when The Camels found the back of the net in the 28th minute through junior Alexa Blaney and doubled their lead just seconds before halftime after a goal from freshman Ella Davidyock

The Camels never looked back, scoring four more goals in the second half. Junior Mya Johnson scored the third goal of the game in the 50th minute, followed by senior Kat Norton just eight minutes later. Throughout the final 30 minutes of play, the Camels added two more goals, first through sophomore Lauren Anastos and finished off by a penalty kick from sophomore Rylie Griffiths.
The Corsairs travel to Castleton for an LEC contest on Sunday at 2 p.m.
