UMass Dartmouth Announces Spring 2021 Semester Fan Policy

DARTMOUTH, Mass. - University of Massachusetts Dartmouth has determined spectators will not be permitted to attend any outdoor intercollegiate home competitions during the Spring 2021 semester.  The University decision focuses on the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff as our top priority.

UMass Dartmouth implemented a robust campus testing schedule for our student-athletes, coaches, and staff through the Woodlawn Commons Testing Center to promote a healthy and safe environment.  Corsair student-athletes and staff are required to test multiple times a week, including a negative PCR test within 72 hours of competition, to comply with local, state, and NCAA guidelines.  Visiting teams and officials will be required to comply with Massachusetts travel restrictions and present either a negative PCR test or BINAX NOW within 72 hours as well. Only essential game managers and athletics staff will be permitted on campus.  These safety measures extend to the UMass Dartmouth community and all areas surrounding the venue.  Please be advised that any visitors who gathers to watch an event will be asked to leave the area by game management personnel.

For those that may consider traveling to an away contest to support Corsair teams, please be advised all Little East Conference institutions have a similar restriction through Monday, April 5, 2021.  We encourage all spectators to review the current visitor policy at opponent venues before traveling to their campus.

Although we wish we could welcome you to campus, fans can cheer on the Corsairs by watching Little East Conference competitions on Littleeast.tv or following us on Twitter and Instagram at @UMassDAthletics for in-game updates.
