DARTMOUTH, Mass.- Last-minute heroics from senior 
Haley Dupre (Lakeville, Mass.) carried the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth over Rhode Island College in this evening's 2-1 win at Cressy Field. The game was knotted at one until Dupre found the back of the net in 89
th minute.
The Anchorwomen opened the scoring early with freshman Ivelisse Martinez (Pawtucket, R.I.) putting Rhode Island College on the board in the 12
th minute. Martinez was a force for the Anchorwomen offense as she took eight shots, putting six on frame.
The Corsairs evened the scoreboard at 1 thanks to a goal from junior 
Kaitlyn Bernier (Dartmouth, Mass.) who was assisted by sophomore 
Jasmine Manteiga (Fall River, Mass.).
Senior goalkeeper 
Jaimee O'Brien (West Springfield, Mass.) was a force for the Corsairs, stopping 13 shots to keep the Corsairs in the game.
UMassD controlled possession for much of the second half, taking 11 of their 16 shots in the 2
nd. The Corsairs capitalized on their chances late in the second half when Dupre found the back of the net on a blast from the top of the box on a feed from senior 
Hannah Sousa (Fall River, Mass.).
The Corsairs will return to action Sunday, April 18
