FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – Fresh off its first win of the season three days ago, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth men's soccer team kept its momentum rolling into Saturday with a 2-1, overtime, victory at Framingham State.

Will Cochran sent home the game winner for the Corsairs (2-1) in the 96th minute off an assist from
Brayan Rivas Martinez. Freshman
Jacob Murphy also scored to mark his first collegiate goal. Scoring for the Rams (0-4) was freshman Nicolas Matias.
UMassD outshot Framingham, 15-12, and 7-4 on-goal. Each team had six corner kicks.
The Corsairs wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, Murphy's goal came on the first shot of the day for the blue and gold in the 16th minute.
It was a defensive battle for the remainder of the first half, as the teams combined for seven more shots. Framingham tied the match in the 38th minute when Matias scored off an assist from sophomore Sharek Ayamga.
UMass Dartmouth had many chances to win the game in regulation, firing nine shots, with two on goal in the second half. The Corsairs also had three shots that were blocked in the final ten minutes, but the match went to overtime, with the score tied at one.
It didn't take long for the Corsairs grab the victory. Rivas Martinez found Cochran for the game-winner in the 96th minute for the first road win of the year.
UMass Dartmouth is back at home to take on Saint Joseph (Conn.) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
