MILTON, Mass. -Â The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's soccer fell at Curry College, 3-0, Tuesday night.
It was the final non-conference tune-up for the Corsairs (1-2-1), who will now get ready for their fist Little East Conference (LEC) matchup at Plymouth State at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Colonels (3-2) will get set to open Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play on Saturday at Endicott.
Cashing in for Curry were sophomores Sydney Dewhurst and Sydney Resendes, and senior Jillian McRoy.
The Colonels scored first in the ninth minute when junior Jessica Gooch found Dewhurst on a corner kick for the 1-0 lead.
UMass Dartmouth's defense held off the Curry attack for the remainder of the first half, but the Colonels opened the second half with a 49th minute goal by Resendes.
McRoy scored Curry's third goal in the 81st minute off an assist from freshman Julia Croft to finish the match.
