DARTMOUTH, Mass. -Â Freshman
Cameron Aguiar scored on a penalty kick in the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's 6-1 loss at the hands of UMass Boston Wednesday night at Cressy Field.
The Corsairs fall to 0-7-5 and 0-4-1 in the Little East Conference (LEC), while the Beacons improve to 8-3-2 and 5-0-0 in the conference.
Junior Josh DeAlmeida scored the first two goals for the Beacons. The first was in the 25th minute from senior Cristian Suvak and the second was in the 47th minute from freshman Nick Braganca.

Joey Paiva was fouled in the box by UMass Boston's keeper to set up a penalty kick for Aguiar, who cut the deficit in half in the 49th minute.
The Beacons responded with four unanswered goals to finish things off. Braganca scored twice, while sophomore Dylan Kelley and freshman Jahiem Perez sent home the final two.
UMass Dartmouth hosts LEC-leading Western Connecticut on Saturday at 12 p.m. for Blue & Gold Weekend.
