Freshman Kylie Winer won two races

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth swimming and diving team competed at Western New England on Saturday. The Golden Bears came out on top, 139-110 in Little East Conference (LEC) competition.

"Although today's result was not in our favor, I was extremely encouraged by the way our team competed with a strong Western New England squad," said Head Coach Owen Worden. "Coach Corey runs a great program, and all of the races were close throughout the afternoon. Our overall team depth and versatility was on full display. It was nice to gauge how our team matches up with another LEC conference member. I'm looking forward to having the chance to race in our home pool when we host the Louise Goodrum Invitational next Saturday."
