SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - 5th-year senior
Meagan Donovan has been selected to represent the University of Massachusetts in the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Senior All-Star Classic. The game will be played at Springfield College on March 27 at 1 p.m. and Spectators are welcomed.
From Abington, Mass., Donovan led the team with a 39.6 3-point percentage and 23 blocked shots. She was fourth on the team in scoring with 7.3 ppg, pulled down 4.1 rpg and handed out 2.0 apg. Donovan had eight games where she scored in double figures, including a career high 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting and 3-of-4 from deep against UMass Boston on Jan. 31.
