MANSFIELD, Conn. -Â Playing in its second-straight road Little East Conference (LEC) game, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth field hockey team fell, 4-0, at Eastern Connecticut Tuesday afternoon.
The Corsairs drop to 2-5 and 0-3 in the LEC, while the Warriors improve to 3-5 and 1-3 in the conference.
Scoring for East Conn were junior Leah Kowalasky, freshman Emma Sanson, sophomore Delia Champagne and junior Kaylee Drobish.

Hannah Trombly kept the game scoreless through the first 30 minutes with four saves.
The Warriors then scored three quick goals in the third. Kowalasky scored from freshman Angelina Falleni at the 36:39 mark, East Conn made it a 2-0 advantage when Drobish set up Sanson three minutes later and the third goal for the home team was scored by Champagne from Kowalasky with 41:40 on the clock.
Drobish found the back of the cage off an assist from grad student Bryce Makulas with just over five minutes remaining to finish things off.
UMass Dartmouth hosts Salem State on Saturday at 3 p.m.
