Lauren Widmer's header went wide left at 11:23.
UMass Dartmouth continued to press late into the frame as fifth-year midfielder
Mya Parker drilled a shot in on goal that was stopped by RIC goalie Chloe Angelone. The Anchorwomen had a pair of solid attempts as well as Olivia Williams and Tayla Salome each sent in shots over the final 10 minutes of play that were quickly stopped by Corsairs keeper,
Grace Conti.
Out of the intermission, the Anchorwomen made a frantic push in the opening of the second half, sending seven shots into the Corsairs zone, including a pair of saves for Conti. The home team had another chance at the 72:00 mark as Gabrielle McGowan pushed in toward goal, but her attempt went wide right.
The Corsairs responded as Parker sent a shot in that Angelone had to scoop up. Another shot, this time from Depina, kept Angelone busy, but the RIC keeper made the stop to keep the game scoreless.
