KEENE, N.H. – Powered by an All-Conference performance by junior captain
Bee Greenberg, the UMass Dartmouth women's cross country team finished third overall in a field of seven teams on Saturday in the 2023 Little East Championship. The Corsairs recorded 90 points on the day, trailing Keene State and Eastern Connecticut.
Greenberg crossed the finish line in fifth overall, posting a time of 19:38.7 to garner All-LEC First Team honors. Grad student
Emma Steedman was next across, earning 17th overall with a time of 20:39.0. Junior
Anya Aadland finished in a time of 21:08.9 – taking 21st overall.

Julia Latura was next to finish, placing 25th with a time of 21:33.3, while rookie
Sarah Lynch posted a time of 21:51.6 to finish 28th overall. Sophomore
Tori Schweitzer was next across, placing 38th with a time of 22:25.9 as classmate
Emma Madruga was right behind in 39th, recording a time of 22:27.1.
Rookie
Sophie Owen was 41st on the afternoon with a time of 22:30.7, while sophomore
Grace Russell rounded out the action in 62nd, notching a time of 27:14.2.
Keene State claimed this year's championship with 46 points, followed by Eastern Connecticut (61), UMass Dartmouth (90), Plymouth State (91) and Southern Maine (107). Individually, Rhode Island College's Haley Oliver was this year medalist, winning in a time of 18:32.9.
The Corsairs return to the course on November 11 when they compete at the NCAA East Regional Championships, hosted at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H.
