DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Powered by a strong first half of scoring by Western Connecticut, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's soccer team was handed a loss on Saturday. The Corsairs slip to 2-6-3 overall and are now 0-3-1 in conference play, while the Wolves improve to 5-4-4 and boast a conference record of 3-0-1.
The scoring came early and often for Western Connecticut. WestConn junior Kyla Norton shined in this contest, scoring a hat trick in the first half alone, including the Wolves' first two scores. In the first half, the Wolves also saw goals from junior Suzana Imetovski and senior Myah Croze as they went into the break with a 5-0 lead.

Grace Conti took over in the second half for UMass Dartmouth and halted the scoring of Western Connecticut. The Wolves added one final score in the 82
nd minute and went on to win, 6-0.
UMass Dartmouth women's soccer returns to action on Wednesday, October 11, when they travel to Rhode Island College for a 5PM LEC meeting with the Anchorwomen.
